September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. 🎗️

Childhood cancer remains the leading cause of death by disease among children in the U.S. This month, the gold ribbon reminds us of the kids and families fighting this battle every day and of the research and care that gives them hope.

That's what makes Luis Carlos's story so powerful. Diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor at just 11 years old, he's now back to being a kid — playing baseball, looking out for his little sisters, and counting down the days until he can drive. None of that would be possible without the research and care St. Jude provides, free of charge to every family.

That's why we run. The 7th Annual Purple Dash is a virtual 5K benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and every sign-up helps fund stories like his.
