🔥 As National BBQ Month comes to a close, one thing is clear: the fire is not going out.
Across this country, barbecue is feeding families, building businesses, raising up young cooks, creating friendships, and bringing communities together.
NBBQA is proud to serve the people who keep that fire burning.
From pitmasters and restaurant owners to product makers, event organizers, backyard cooks, educators, and BBQ fans — this community continues to prove that barbecue is about so much more than food.

🔥 There is something powerful about live fire cooking.
The sound. The smell. The skill. The patience. The people gathered around watching it all come together.
Live fire cooking pulls folks in because it is more than food. It is connection, craft, and community.
NBBQA is excited to see live fire continue to grow across the barbecue and grilling industry.
Now we want to hear from you:
What brings you to the fire?

🔥 NBBQA Member Spotlight: Randall Bowman
Today, we are proud to spotlight Randall Bowman, a longtime member of the barbecue family whose work, knowledge, and craftsmanship have left a lasting mark on the BBQ community.
Many in barbecue know Randall through his years connected to smoker building and helping cooks understand the value of good equipment, consistency, and fire management. His experience represents an important part of what makes barbecue special — people who are willing to build, teach, share, and support others along the way.
That is what NBBQA is all about.
The National Barbecue & Grilling Association brings together the people who keep barbecue and grilling moving forward — cooks, restaurant owners, pit builders, product makers, competitors, educators, event organizers, and families who love this community.
Members like Randall remind us that barbecue is not just about what comes off the pit. It is about the people behind the work, the lessons learned over time, and the relationships built around smoke and fire.
🔥 Please help us recognize Randall Bowman and thank him for the role he has played in the barbecue community.
If you are building, cooking, teaching, competing, selling, serving, or supporting the barbecue world, there is a place for you in NBBQA.

🔥 Congratulations to the 2026 Barbecue Hall of Fame® Class!
The National Barbecue & Grilling Association is proud to celebrate several current members of our NBBQA barbecue family who will be honored as part of the 2026 Barbecue Hall of Fame® class.
Please join us in congratulating Mark Lambert, Carey Bringle, and Arthur “Eudell” Watts (Legacy Inductee and a great grandfather of NBBQA Eudell Watts) on this well-deserved honor.
Mark Lambert has helped shape competitive barbecue through championship cooking, education, mentorship, and his continued support of the BBQ community.
Carey Bringle has carried the story, flavor, and hospitality of West Tennessee barbecue far beyond Nashville through Peg Leg Porker, his teaching, and his continued work as an ambassador for the craft.
Arthur Watts leaves a powerful legacy that reaches back through generations. His story is an important part of barbecue history, and we are grateful to see his contributions honored in this way.
We also congratulate the full 2026 Barbecue Hall of Fame® class, including Ben Lang, Malcom Reed, George “Toots” Caston, and Charles “Charlie” Stamey.
From competition pits to restaurants, from smoker manufacturing to education, from family traditions to historic open-pit barbecue, this class represents the heart, history, and future of barbecue.
Congratulations to each of these honorees. Your work has helped build, preserve, and strengthen the barbecue community we all love.
