❤️🖤 POP MENTORING IN ACTION🖤❤️

A HUGE SHOUTOUT TO Costco‼️❤️🖤

Tonight, our ECASD District Wide Chapter had an incredible mentoring experience as we were welcomed by the amazing team at Costco in Eau Claire!

A special THANK YOU to the entire Costco team, their General Manager, and our very own POP mentor, Yoshi, for helping make this opportunity possible! We truly appreciate you opening your doors and creating such a memorable learning experience for our mentees. 💯

Our mentees had the opportunity to explore Costco from a whole new perspective! From learning about membership perks and exploring the dairy and meat departments to visiting the food court and seeing the employee break area, our young people gained valuable insight into Costco’s operations, workplace culture, and the many opportunities the company has to offer.

And the excitement didn’t stop there! 🎉 TWO OF OUR MENTEES WERE AWARDED FREE COSTCO EXECUTIVE MEMBERSHIPS after submitting essays for the challenge Costco offered our chapter! Congratulations to both mentees, and thank you to Costco for investing in our young people and rewarding their efforts! 🏆👏🏾

Experiences like these remind us that mentoring goes beyond the classroom. It’s about exposing our youth to new environments, expanding their knowledge, building relationships, and helping them envision possibilities for their future.

At POP, we’re committed to creating opportunities that inspire our mentees to dream bigger, learn more, and recognize their potential!

❤️🖤 POP ELEMENTARY CHAPTER: COHORT NORTHSTAR🖤❤️

Our 2nd POP Elementary Chapter mentoring session was an overall success! 😁

Tonight we brought together an amazing group of K–5 students from Locust Lane, Northwoods, Sam Davey, Longfellow, and Chippewa Valley Montessori at Northwoods Elementary for an evening of introductions, LEGO building, teamwork, and fun! 🧱💡

We had a great turnout and highly engaged mentees from kindergarten through 5th grade! It was exciting to see our youngest leaders collaborate, use their creativity, and build connections with one another.

Even better, our parents and guardians shared great feedback about the session and how much they enjoyed the experience. Our mentees are already looking forward to the next one! ❤️🖤

This is what it’s all about: creating a positive environment where our youth feel supported, connected, and empowered to grow.

❤️🖤 POP MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL CHAPTER 🖤❤️

Yesterday, we had another great POP mentoring session with our Eau Claire Memorial High School Chapter! 💪🏾

Our mentees participated in “Creating The Vision & Making It Plain,” focusing on the importance of setting goals, thinking about their future, and turning their visions into reality. We also incorporated our pre-survey to better understand our mentees and recognize those who were the most creative and locked in! 🎯🏆

We’re continuing to create spaces where our youth can grow, build confidence, develop their mindset, and see the greatness within themselves.

A big shoutout to our Memorial mentees for showing up and putting in the work! The vision is bigger than today, and the future is bright!

❤️🖤 POP ELEMENTARY COHORT SOUTH CHAPTER— WHAT A NIGHT! 🖤❤️

Our very first POP Elementary mentoring session was a HUGE success! 🙌🏾 The room was packed, the energy was amazing, and our K–5 scholars had a great time learning about POP and participating in our LEGO team-building activity! 🧱🎉

One of the highlights was having a few of our ECASD District Wide mentees join us! Our younger scholars loved hearing about their journeys with POP and learning from those who are already growing through the movement. ❤️🖤 That’s what mentorship and building a village are all about!

A SPECIAL THANK YOU to all our principals who helped spread the word and connect families with this opportunity! Your efforts to reach families who can truly benefit from the POP movement are greatly appreciated. It takes a village, and we’re grateful to have you as part of ours! 🙏🏾
