Good morning to our wonderful community of Elberta, Orange Beach, Gulf Shores and surrounding areas. The past month and a half has been extremely trying times for the Island Glassworks family. We have had to deal with the loss of Kassies dad “Big O”.
Kassie has spent the last month and a half taking care of her daddy who fought stage 4 glioblastoma for 8 months. And we fought it with him until the last breath when he went to be with our Lord.
With that said, we have been behind, there has been so much to take care of in the time that she was gone, and I was gone.
Ultimately, there have been some completely untrue things being said about us as a family and a business, we have fallen under extreme scrutiny while we have done nothing but our best to get by through these trying times. Things that no one should have to deal with while taking care of a loved one.
So to set the record clear, there were a few things that happened this past week and weekend while Kassie nor I was present at our shop.
First: A man came into my shop and tried to fight one of my guys, ultimately we have had to criminally trespass this individual from our premises.
Secondly: another individual has been a defamation problem for almost 6 months now, and we are not sure why this individual is so focused on trying to destroy our reputation. Our dogs were being completely taken care of while we were out of town dealing with the loss of Kassie’s dad. Our employees helped to make sure they were fed and watered and taken out.
mean while we have tried to mind our own business and focus on our customers, and the work we have at hand.
So to set the record straight, we are perfectly fine here at island glassworks, our dogs and children are well loved, taken care of, and we will continue to keep giving the absolute best service we can provide.
We have always been devoted to our customers. We love, care, and appreciate everyone in our entire community. And we appreciate the love that has been spread to our family through times that no one should ever have to go through with a loved one.
So with that being said, Kassie is home, we are all back to normal business hours and ready to tackle what life has in store for us next.
We hope that everyone has a wonderful day, from our family to yours. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
