We’ve been working with Travis on our new Country Roads Moving building, and he has been an absolute asset and blessing to our business!

🏃‍♂️ Running for a REASON!

Country Roads Moving was proud to co-sponsor the recent Shriners 5K, helping raise money for Shriners Hospitals for Children. We were happy to provide water and bananas for the runners and support a great cause!

We also had the opportunity to meet Pleasant Valley Mayor Chuck Ledsome for the first time. We learned he’s a Shriner and someone passionate about our community, it was great connecting with him!

We’re excited to continue building relationships and investing in Pleasant Valley! ❤️

🍂🎃 Fall Fest is coming to Pleasant Valley Elementary! 🎃🍂

This Sunday, October 4th, from 2–4 PM, come out to Pleasant Valley Elementary for their 2nd Annual Fall Fest!

Country Roads Moving was happy to help facilitate the delivery of around 9 pallets of pumpkins and 80+ mums that will be available for sale! 🎃🌼

There will also be food trucks, cake walk, face painting, games, crafts, and plenty of fall fun for the whole family!

💙 Gardners doing Gardening!!

Country Roads Moving owners/operators Jake & Paige Gardner, along with several of our team members, were proud to spend the day volunteering at the YWCA in Pleasant Valley as part of United Way’s Day of Service. A few weeks back.

We put in some sweat equity helping with landscaping and maintenance at the property — our future neighbors! 🌱💪

A big thank-you to the YWCA for all they do for our community and to our friends at Huntington Bank for partnering with us on a great day of service!

A LOOK AT OUR LOCAL ECONOMY!

I had the opportunity today to attend an economic outlook presented by Huntington Bank, covering the U.S., West Virginia, and right here in Morgantown.

The overall message was encouraging! 🇺🇸📈

I’ve created a takeaway sheet from my notes with some of their talking points in the presentation.

There are certainly things to watch, particularly inflation and energy prices, but overall it was great to hear some positive news about the economy and especially the strength of Morgantown and North Central West Virginia.

A big thank you to Huntington Bank for investing in our local business community and taking the time to share this information with us. It’s valuable for business owners to understand the bigger economic picture we’re operating in!

Extra shoutout to Mr. Jacob with Huntington. You’re a good man and a solid banker. I appreciate you sir!

💪 A HUGE thank you to the local companies helping us transform our new property!

Over the past 3 months, we’ve removed a LOT of stuff — including:

🗑️ 15 dump trailer loads
🚛 3 — 40-yard dumpsters
🚚 2 box trucks full of items

We couldn’t have done it without Mr. James with Bearcat Enterprises, Scrap It West Virginia, Graybeard Junk Removal, and Martin Junk Removal!

We truly appreciate all the time, hard work, and effort each of you put into helping us give the property a fresh, clean start. ❤️

More work to come — and we’re excited to show you what we’re turning this place into! 🏗️🚚
