Travel Tip Tuesday! If you’re new to cruising, you may not know that most cruise lines offer two dinner seatings-one early and one late.

If you plan to be out exploring each port, I recommend picking the later seating, as most excursions won’t get you back to the ship in time for the early seating. This is something you should let me as your travel advisor know as early as possible so that I can ensure the seating choice you prefer.

One of the things I love about cruises is exploring the different ports of call!

Most cruise ships spend a day in each port of call and while that just offers a little sampling of what each place is like, it’s amazing how much you can do and experience in just one day. It’s also a great opportunity to do some in person recon on a country for future travels (after visiting the port of Nice, I knew I needed to go back to the area for a much longer stay!).

Cruise Tip: Don’t forget to pack for your cruise excursions!

If any adventure or hiking excursions are on your cruise itinerary, you’re going to want to be prepared with the right gear. I recommend packing a backpack (a beach bag isn’t ideal). Things to pack:
* SeaPass card/passport
* Cash/card
* Bottled water/snack
* Sunscreen
* Any medications you may need
* Swimsuit/towel (you can pick up a towel on the ship the night before)
* Extra footwear Sounds

Sounds like a lot but when you’re out on an all day excursion, you’ll be glad you prepared ahead of time!

Some people will tell you the best part of a cruise is the food (and yes, it IS next level), the views or the endless activities.

But honestly? I think it’s all about who you’re with.

There’s something about cruising that makes every moment a little more magical when you’re with the right people.

Whether it’s the beautiful chaos of family, the laughs with friends or those romantic moments with someone special, the company makes all the difference.

For me, it’s definitely my family! We have cruised the Caribbean and the Mediterranean and every trip feels like a true adventure.

Don’t skip Westminster Abbey on your visit to London!

Step inside one of the most iconic landmarks in London and walk in the footsteps of kings, queens and legendary figures. From breathtaking Gothic architecture to the resting place of British royalty, Westminster Abbey is a must visit!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit-I was in awe of the sheer scale of the architecture and stained glass. It was a place that exuded tranquility no matter how many people were there. I found so many little corners to explore and found it humbling to be in a space that has been witness to so much history!

I opted to add the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Gallery onto my ticket-they have done a beautiful job showcasing artifacts spanning Britain’s history. You will need to purchase a separate ticket to the Gallery(in addition to your main ticket for the Abbey).
