Life hit me hard for a while. I experienced a few deaths in my family, and honestly, it took away a lot of my motivation. I needed time to grieve, regroup, and get myself back together.
But I’m feeling stronger, more focused, and ready to get back to business. My dispatch services will be starting back up soon, and I’m excited to come back with a fresh mindset and new motivation.

Some days in this industry hit different.
Everything is up—fuel, maintenance, insurance… but rates? Still low.
Brokers posting loads that barely cover costs while drivers and dispatchers are out here just trying to stay afloat.
We’re not asking for crazy numbers—just fair pay for the work being done.
If you’re out here grinding, I see you. Keep pushing.

🚛Dispatcher Life – Real Talk 💼
Being a dispatcher is NOT as easy as people think…
It’s early mornings checking load boards, calling brokers back-to-back, getting hung up on, negotiating rates, and getting your driver a load.
Some days you win, some days these brokers act like they forgot they posted a load 😭
But one thing about me?
I’m gonna keep going until my drivers are booked and paid 💯

A lot of drivers think dispatching is just “grab a load and book it.”
It’s not that simple.
Before I book anything, I gotta make sure everything checks out — your paperwork good, your truck actually fits the load, the broker legit, and the money makes sense.
Sometimes the load ain’t really a fit.
Sometimes brokers don’t pick up.
Sometimes paperwork slows everything down.
So if I don’t book something right away, it’s not me being slow — I’m making sure you don’t get stuck in a bad situation.
This ain’t fast food… this is logistics.

A lot of drivers think dispatching is just “find a load and book it ASAP.”

In reality… it’s way more than that.

Before a load even gets booked, there’s a whole back-end process happening:• Verifying carrier packets• Checking MC status, insurance, and authority• Making sure the truck actually meets load requirements• Calling and negotiating with brokers• Confirming rate cons and details• Ensuring pickup/delivery times actually make sense

And that’s just the beginning.

Sometimes loads look good but don’t match your equipment.Sometimes brokers don’t answer.Sometimes paperwork delays everything.

So when it’s not “instant,” it’s not because your dispatcher isn’t working — it’s because we’re making sure everything is done RIGHT so you don’t run into issues later.

This isn’t fast food. It’s logistics.
