I debated with myself whether to post about a situation we experienced very recently. I don't post about sensitive jobs, but I am still boiling over this one.

I'm treating it as a PSA:

Help your elderly neighbors instead of tormenting them.

Don't scam them.

Treat them with empathy and respect. .

If you can't reach that level of human kindness then think about it in a selfish way: some day, if you're lucky enough, YOU, too, will be elderly and will hope for compassion.

Ultimately JL and a few other helping hands told this customer to pay it forward.

Please don't praise us as that is not why I posted. Good old fashioned help was all they needed, not emotional and financial stress.

We should help each other not tear each other down.

The last few weeks, JL has been going in every direction; from our regular scheduled jobs to deadlines our customers need to meet with JL jumping through hoops to make it happen for them, to working early and staying at jobs close to midnight. I don't know how we do it, but we do it.

However......today the Junk Ladians made it happen! I put out a post earlier that my customer was giving away free stuff and man-o-man, you guys DID NOT disappoint! My customer had a full truckload of practically new holiday decorations. When I say truckload I mean my size truck not a pick up truck. So, yeah, there was A LOT!!!! There was no way any of it should go to a landfill and my customer didn't wish for that either. We had planned to have a pop-up free day from today until Sunday thinking, it wouldn't all be rehomed at once, right? Well, we were wrong! Within 3.5 hours most of the treasures were rehomed! People traveled an hour away! Vehicles kept arriving and leaving with goodies!

My customer is surprised, exhausted and grateful for everyone's help.

Because of you these treasures get another life. Because of you these items lives have been extended another day to be appreciated instead of rotting in a landfill.

Happy Saturday my beautiful junk peeps!

I did something out of the ordinary for me, I slept in this morning!!! 😮 Yesterday we completed 4 jobs. Here's the day in rewind:

After dinner we arrived at job 4 at 9pm. We've been working with this family since last summer to do 1 load hauls while they were getting their property ready for the market. Well, it sold! Last night we completed phase 5. We'll go back for the last haul.
I even practiced my golf swing! We finally made it home by 10:30pm. We were pooped!

Job 3-2:30pm Phase 4
This property has sold. This is bittersweet. We've been assisting them since spring. Yesterday we were working in the attic 🥵 now it's time for the movers to do their thing.

Job 2-10:45am Phase 1
Another property on the market. We completed phase 1. I love this property! It's quaint and you can feel the love in it. I'll share the link on a different post.

Job 1- 9:45am NOT a phase! 🤣
This person just had a good ol' junk pile! We removed it and now they don't have to look at it anymore!

5am-Waggy Tail Boys are up! That means their noses in your face until they get breakfast and morning sniff time outside. For me it's paperwork, correspondence and getting ready for the day.

We 💛 our customers! We are honored to be able to assist whether it's an all at once property cleanout, to working in phases, junk piles or single item removals. No matter the depth our goal is to not only remove those no longer needed items, but to haul away that stess that comes with!

Gooooooooooooooooood mornin' my beautiful junk peeps! 🤗

Though the clouds look a little heavy I can see the ☀️ poking through!

We've had non-stop crazy days! I really refer to them as gratefully busy 🙏. Today will be another of those days. I am always amazed with how much we can pack in in one day. Last week we were working early in the am and not getting home until around 10ish pm. Sometimes I wonder, am I crazy? Well, yes, yes I am.

Something that encourages me is the people we meet through this business. We meet all walks of life. We are told of life experiences I wish on no one to the every day common stories that every person should get to enjoy. If we are lucky, we get to hug. I love that JL gets to be a part this.

Here is a recent review we received. I didn't expect this review as we haven't worked for this customer for a bit. Erick, thank you. ☺️
