Ford Tri-Motor visiting Capitol City Airport was a real treat for aviation enthusiasts. Photos were taken while her crew members and volunteers but her to bed in hanger on Friday evening.

The 1928 Ford Tri-Motor was not the only entertainment at Capitol City Airport today. This single engine aircraft got tossed about by light gusty winds on approach, but landed on second approach without incident.

How exciting to see the EAA Ford Tri-Motor Tour aircraft in the east end of Frankfort today.

My 90's something passenger looked up in disbelief. "What was that!"

Two days ago she spotted an experimental aircraft as I was driving her home.

I can't wait to check out the Tri-motor passenger aircraft out this weekend at Capitol City Airport.

On my way home this evening the Ford Tri-Motor was crossing I 64 near Kohls.

What an amazing site to see.

I'm changing the purpose of this page.

All Frankfort aviation news is still desired, the new emphasis is to attract our youth to Aviation.

So, anything aviation related is welcome and I challenge everyone to invite our youth to Frankfort Flight Line.

I gave up mowing grass recently due to my Doctor's advice.
Then I read where a lady was struck and killed by an airplane while mowing her grass.

Somebody asked if she was flying her riding mower or was the airplane in her yard?? Who knows?
