Look, I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you think the woods behind your house are quiet, you’re bloody dreaming.
I was digging through the notes for our next ShadowTalk Unfiltered episode, and honestly? The stuff we’re unboxing from the Appalachian mountains has me absolutely buzzing. This coming Tuesday, July 14th, 12PM NZST, we’re sitting down with East Tennessee Appalachian researcher and storyteller, Rachel Speer, and we are dragging the local folklore completely out of the shadows.
Forget the cute campfire tales. We’re talking about the Moon-Eyed people, Spearfinger (seriously, Google her at your own risk), giant cryptids with a severe red-eye problem, unexplained UFOs over Oak Ridge, this area is a full-spectrum paranormal hotspot.
The mainstream wants you to think it’s all just local superstition. But when you look at the sheer volume of high-strangeness out there? Yeah. Something is definitely watching the tree line.
