Made a cut out of the state of New York for this motivated Gunny that’s transferring out of his unit. I used clear acrylic for the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor. Check out how clean that bad boy is! 🧊

PSRSS stands for Prior Service Recruiting Sub-Station. This award was made in order to commemorate the most successful PSRSS within the northeast.
All their hard work and dedication places PSRSS Chicopee above the rest of their competitors for 2019.
Each year, when the top station is determined, a plate will be placed to recognize their achievements.
A Prior Service Recruiter, is a recruiter that’s specializes in bringing Marines whom have finished their time in active duty, back as reservists.
This project could not have been done without
He, himself, is a current member of the PSR Community.
keep up the good work PSR Chicopee! 💪🏼🇺🇸 @ Garden City, New York

When your Commanding Officer finds out you have a way with the engraver... he sends you off to make some coasters for the conference room. 🧐☕️
Recognition is always appreciated and accepted sir!
These coasters were a challenge to design. But if you know me, I love a challenge. After we got that figured out, the rest was a breeze.
We added two coats of Shellac to seal and waterproof the coasters. For the backing, we used sheets of cork. It was a little tedious to perfectly cut out each coaster, but .

This one goes out to a really good buddy of mine whom was just medically retired from the Marine Corps after 8 years of service. Ya’ll have absolutely no idea how long it took to braid the amount of 550-cord necessary to wrap up that cane for him. 😂😂 @ RC Dugans Craft Beer & Wing House

These are the plaques I made for the graduates of India Company as part of Boot Camp style training program. I’m really glad to see that after he got out of the Marine Corps he is still doing great things in the civilian sector. Give him a follow to see what this dude is all about. You won’t be disappointed.

I know I haven’t been on here very much lately but I have had a lot of stuff on my plate with work, school, and my family.

Here is a quick sign I made for my buddies front door. It didn’t take a lot of time but I think it turned out great! Let me know if you want something similar to show your team spirit!

Engraving 120 axes for my units Marine Corps Birthday Ball. Mass producing products is definitely different from one big project. Luckily, I made a jig to help out the process.

I'm thinking about selling something similar with my own spin on it. Let me know if you would be interested!

Hey guys, made this flag for a navy vet in my unit.

I honestly find it pretty funny that I made an american flag featuring the navy logo before making one with the Marine's Eagle, Globe, & Anchor. My next project will also be a flag but I'm going a little international with this one. Stay tuned!

It took me awhile to figure out how to make the stars look just right. First I tried white spray paint with a stencil and it bled through, then I tried to use my to cut each star out and it took way longer than I would have hoped. I ended up settling on engraving stars with my engraver, cutting each star out, and them gluing them out the flag one by one.

This , I'm posting my first ever award. It is also the award that has taken the most amount of time to make. It is a gear cross for a really good friend of mine, .ay

I made a gear cross because he is truly a spartan at heart. He was also a devout gym rat which was the inspiration for the weight shaped base and dumbbell styled ornaments. Sadly, he hasn't been able to lift recently due to his new duty as a MCRD San Diego Drill Instructor.

I used pressure treated 4x4s for the cross and poplar wood for the base. Preparing the cross included many hours of lighting it on fire and beating it to death with a chain. I even threw it down a couple flights of stairs on quite a few occasions out of both frustration and necessity. The helmet, shield, and sword were purchased but everything else was completely hand made. An absolute one of a kind gift.

A gear cross is usually utilized for individuals to hang their flak jackets and kevlar helmets. If you are currently serving in the military or have served in the past you may remember your salty First Sergeant having one in the corner of his office.

Extremely satisfied with how this shadow box turned out. It took a lot more work than I would have expected but it was a great learning experience. This was my first try at ever making one, and for a Captain no less.

*SWIPE RIGHT TO SEE SOME CLOSE UPS*

This gentleman worked as the Base Operations Officer for the 1st Marine Corps District. He was in charge of facilities and the maintenance of the installation. He was also responsible for the guards that manned the gate. He completed 8 years of active duty service. Semper Fidelis!

The flag used for the shadow box has flown times at 1st Marine Corps District headquarters and the Officer's coat used was donated by a very generous XO, cause man are those things expensive. 🤣

Super late for but here I am. Got a lot of projects on the firing line right now. I have to finish a shadow box by tomorrow morning so you know I'm running around like a recruit on his first day of boot camp. 🤣 Watch out for what is in stay for the upcoming weeks. Have a !
