Well July is finally here and in a blink it will be gone. A huge thanks to those who shared our post seeking an intern. You led us to the perfect candidate and we welcomed Lauren Zagata to our team in May! Lauren is studying Supply Chain Management at Michigan State University. In short time, she has become a tremendous asset to our business and we hope to keep her with us over the upcoming years.

Across the country, the freight market has been in constant decline over the last year. This mainly has to do with the post-Covid boom coming to an end. But our business continues to grow and we finished the 2nd quarter with our shipment count up 14% over last year! Please continue to spread the word to anyone who ships freight. We provide solutions ranging from expedited sprinter vans to over-size flatbed loads and almost anything in between.

We are proud to be partnered with the Pigeon Little League! I was back in my hometown over the weekend and got to see some great baseball and softball during their annual tournament. There were about 40 teams from all over the thumb that started on Friday (including a Home Run Derby), with championship games on Sunday. I grew up playing on these fields, often with my Dad coaching. Great memories and great to see how much the facilities have improved over the years!

Our thoughts and prayers are with all who were impacted by the tornado that touched down in our hometown Ga***rd, Michigan Friday afternoon. Especially to those who suffered the loss of a loved one, for the injured, and those who lost their home or business. We were involved with the clean up efforts yesterday, and will be heading back out today to do what we can to help and love our neighbors.

It’s great to be in a position to give back, especially to things that had such positive impact on my life.
