I’m usually anti-hype, but was the real deal. We scrambled for early entry to their Strawberry Festival, and it was totally worth it! Activities for the kids for hours, plus plenty of yummy strawberries to pick. Great one-stop-shop activity day for the kids - and we had fun too! Check out the last photo for a fun take on a classic game. 🍓🍓🍓

With Uncle Benny visiting and some truly spectacular sunny weather, we took a mid-week excursion out to Lake NeedWood for a nature walk. The day was complete with a hike, picnic, lakeside relaxing, and of course a playground! Great one-stop shop to keep everyone entertained for the day. Ice cream (not pictured) and latte were not included at the park 😋 but we didn’t mind going back to our favorite for a mid-day treat!

A weekend visit to see family, and we still fit in some culture! An Eric Carle exhibit at the Michner Museum in Doylestown, PA makes for a visit where everyone found something they liked, from curated collections to hands-on activities. The size was perfect for a quick visit without feeling overwhelmed. Great diversion on a cold, rainy day!

Got out of town without going very far to the of the Holy Land in DC. Inspiring to see the beauty and hear some history. Definitely check it out for a more off-the-beaten-path experience. What quirky sites or experiences does your town offer?
