From our understanding - Ember will be taught to be a therapy pig for mom and we think that’s amazing!

We are getting ready to hit the road to meet them halfway ✨

Autumn went home Sunday afternoon, and y’all, I think this one was just meant to be. 🤍🍂

Her momma messaged me Saturday and said, “Me, my husband and my son all decided we wanted a piggy, and the first page we found was you!” And if that’s not a little bit of fate, I don’t know what is! 🥹

After a quick chat, she realized Autumn was the perfect fit for their family, and just like that, plans were made for her to meet her girl the very next day!

We drove an hour and a half to meet her and her son, which was no trouble at all. We’re always happy to make the journey a little easier for our piggy families whenever we can. 🤍

And when I tell you Autumn knew she had found her people, I mean it! That little nose was going a mile a minute, and she was so sweet and calm. It was almost like she knew this was it - her new family, her new home, and the beginning of her very own little adventure. 🐷🤎

Not long after we got home, I was already receiving pictures and videos of their adventures together and Autumn settling in like she owned the place. 😂 Seeing her explore her new home and start claiming her little corners made my heart so happy!

I could go on and on about how lucky, blessed, and grateful we feel for the families we’ve met through raising these babies. Every family has their own story, and getting to be a small part of bringing them together with the right piggy is something we’ll never take for granted.

Sometimes the right little piggy finds you exactly when she’s supposed to. And sometimes, the very first page you stumble across ends up being the one that brings your family together. 🤍🍂

Sunday morning, we were up bright and early to get little miss Marzipan off to her new home! 🤍

We drove a little over an hour to meet her new momma as she got off her night shift, and y’all, it was such a sweet moment. The second Marzipan settled into her arms, you could just tell she was right where she was supposed to be. 🥹

I know these aren’t the best pictures, but I like to be as open and honest with y’all as I can be.

The truth is, Marzipan’s momma had been scammed before. She expressed how much she wanted this sweet girl but was understandably hesitant about sending a deposit, so I offered to meet her as soon as possible instead.

And honestly, I think sometimes you just have to be willing to take a little leap of faith. Not every good thing in life starts with a transaction - sometimes it starts with a little trust, a kind gesture, and two people willing to believe there are still good folks out there. 🤍

At the end of the day, we aren’t just looking to find homes for our piggies. We’re looking to find their people. The families who will love them, cherish them, and become part of their story long after they leave ours. If I can make that process a little less scary for someone who’s been let down before, then driving a little extra and meeting without a deposit is a small price to pay.

Marzipan is right where she belongs, her momma has a little more peace of mind, and we got to be a small part of something really sweet. That’s what it’s all about. 🐷🤍
