Experience traveling to Maui Hawaii
May 2025
It was a beautiful time to go to Hawaii. The weather was beautiful. It rained a lot of the time in the week that we were there but it never spoiled any of our outdoor adventures. I’ve never seen so many rainbows. 🌈 it was the land of rainbows! It literally is a paradise. The water was easy to get in and I love swimming in the waves.
We went to:
Maui Ocean Center
Garden of Eden (this day was pretty warm)
Went 🍓 picking at Kula Country Farms
Saw Waterfalls on the Road to Hana

We stayed at Napili Shores Maui by Outrigger. It was beyond gorgeous and it has its own beach and there was a great local coffee shop we went to in the mornings a few minute walk from the hotel.

Does it get any greener than this?!!
Oregon May 2024
Day 1 we went out to eat at this Italian restaurant Pastini. It was so good! Then we went to a local park. Maverick loved the sandbox.
Day 2 We went to Lincoln City and spent time on the beach.
Day 3 We went to the Oregon Zoo. Maverick rode on a train and was so excited. Portland, Oregon
Day 4 - We went to Multnomah Falls. Breathtaking. I had to carry Maverick down the path so I considered it my workout for the day.
Day 5 - We went to OMSI. He had a fun time. I followed him around everywhere watching him play. 💙
Day 6 - We went home. Our flight was delayed over an hour but we made the best of it at the airport and got ice cream. 🍨
It was a joy to spend our 6 days together in Portland. I will forever cherish these special memories with my son. Quality time is life's greatest treasure.

Charlotte, North Carolina

We stayed at Wingate by Wydham Charlotte Airport. I liked the hotel. The buffet breakfast was pretty basic but still enjoyable. Normally I don't sleep very well at hotels but here I slept great. Well after the first day. We stayed 6 days here.

Maverick and I got to spend so much quality time together. We went to Discovery Place Nature which was really close to our hotel. There was lots of fun things for him to do. If I wasn't with a kid though it wouldn't have been as enjoyable.

We also went to Carowinds which is a amusement park and water park combined. It was right on the border of North and South Carolina! We mostly played at the water park. We tried going on the Merry Go Round but he kept wanting to move to different horses. Not great! Lol

Overall it was a great experience. The town is beautiful and green! Which I love. The food there was phenomenal. 😋

Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs, Colorado🏞

We stayed at Hyatt Place Westminster/Denver. No complaints from me. I loved their buffet breakfast. Maverick and I enjoyed it every morning!

The moment I drove from Denver to Boulder it took my breath away. It was a moment of serenity and spirituality. Just gorgeous. 💚💚

Here we went to the Science Museum in Denver. It was so massive, 3 stories high we could not get through it in a day. My 1 year old son had a blast there! If you go to Denver definitely check it out.

On our day to Colorado Springs we of course had to checkout Garden of the God's. It had the beautiful red rock that reminds me of Sedona. Great photos and a wonderful hike. For lovers of beauty you should obviously go. 😁

Savannah, Georgia🌳

This is a beautiful and exciting city that I would love to go back to. It's gorgeous, has lots of culture, and it's really close to the beach! One interesting thing is you can drink on the streets like you can in Vegas. I was pregnant so I didn’t get to partake. 😅

Here we stayed at the Westin (pictured below). It was right on the Savannah River so we had to take a ferry everyday to get to downtown. When I booked the hotel I thought cool….Then it wasn't as cool cause you had to wait for it and it wasn't super convenient. 😂 The hotel was gorgeous and the restaurant there was wonderful.

We did a dolphin tour, where we got to see baby dolphins!! 😍 So cute! We went to a drag show, that was fun. We also did a ghost tour since Savannah is known for being haunted. I highly recommend it!!

The food was amazing. I never tried a Cuban sandwich before and wow I was blown away.
