💡 Travel Tip Tuesday: Don’t fly in the day your cruise leaves! 🚢✈️

I always recommend arriving at least one day before your cruise. Flights get delayed, connections get missed, and the last thing you want is to watch your ship sail away without you. 😬

And if your cruise starts in Europe, I recommend arriving two days early if you can. It gives you a little breathing room after a long travel day, helps you adjust to the time difference, and lets you start your cruise feeling rested instead of exhausted.

That extra hotel night (or two!) can buy you a whole lot of peace of mind.

Are you team “arrive early and relax” or team “cutting it as close as humanly possible”? 😂

💙 Memory Monday: Zarcero, Costa Rica 🇨🇷

One of those unexpected little travel stops that ended up being so memorable.

We made a quick stop in Zarcero and got to wander through this amazing park filled with hand-shaped cypress trees, arches, giant faces, animals, and all kinds of creative topiaries.

I love moments like this when traveling, something that wasn’t necessarily the “main event” ends up being one of the things you remember most.

Have you ever stumbled across an unexpected stop while traveling that turned into a favorite memory? 🌿✈️

Three days of ASTA travel training and my brain is officially FULL. 😂✈️

But I love continuing to learn, stay current, and bring better information and support back to my clients. There is always something new happening in travel, and that’s part of what makes this job so fun.

⭐ Friday Resort Review: Arizona Biltmore 🌵

If you’re local to Arizona and want a great staycation, this is one I’d absolutely recommend.

I’ve stayed at the Arizona Biltmore twice, and one of the things I love most is the property itself. The architecture is so distinctive, the resort was designed by Albert Chase McArthur and is known for its Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired style, which gives the whole place such a classic Arizona feel.

🏨 Rooms & Villas:
Beautiful accommodations, plus villa options that can work really well for families who want a little more space.

🏊 Pools & Grounds:
Such a fun place to relax, and honestly… an empty Arizona Biltmore pool almost feels like winning the lottery. 😂

🍽️ Food & Treats:
There are plenty of options right on property, from McArthur’s for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, to Renata’s Hearth for a more elevated dinner. And Cup & Cone has espresso, gelato, and treats when you need something sweet.

☕ Teresa’s Coffee Score:
Officially unranked. 😂
Ryan went home to check on the dogs and I made him bring my coffee back with him, so I cannot responsibly judge this one.

❤️ Would I stay again?
Considering I’ve already stayed twice… absolutely.

It’s a beautiful property, a great Arizona staycation, and one of those resorts where you really don’t have to leave if you don’t want to.

Are you a staycation person, or does it only count as vacation if you get on a plane? 😆✈️

I mean… seems pretty reasonable to me. 😂✈️🌴

Food, money, and a few vacations a year, apparently my priorities are very clear at this point. 😆

Who else can relate?

✨ Destination Wednesday: Naples, Italy 🇮🇹

Naples is one of those cities that feels completely alive.

It’s busy, colorful, full of history, incredible food, and so much personality. I loved seeing how the city stretches from the historic center up into the hills, there’s something interesting in every direction.

And of course… this is Naples, so the food alone is reason enough to visit. 😂🍕🇮🇹

It also makes a great base if you want to explore places like Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, or the islands nearby.

Would Naples be a destination you’d want to explore, or are you heading straight for the Amalfi Coast? 🇮🇹

💡 Travel Tip Tuesday: Ask the locals!

One of my favorite things to do when I travel is ask locals what they love to eat, not just what’s popular with tourists.

That’s exactly how I discovered Governor Tacos in Puerto Vallarta… and now I’m completely hooked. 😂🌮

Some of the best travel experiences come from being willing to try something new and following a local recommendation.

What’s the best thing you’ve ever eaten because someone local told you to try it? 👇

Memory Monday 🌈🌳

On our Road to Hana adventure, I mentioned to our guide that one thing I really wanted to see was the Rainbow Eucalyptus trees.

She said, “I know just the place.”

Next thing I know, Ryan and I are hiking down this obscure little trail off the side of the road to find these absolute beauties. 😍

Pictures really don’t do them justice. The colors running through the bark looked like someone had taken a paintbrush to the trees, greens, reds, purples, oranges… all completely natural.

This is still one of my favorite little memories from Maui, and one we probably would have driven right past on our own.

It pays to have a great, vetted local guide who knows where the hidden gems are. 😉🌺

Busy travel advisor day over here… and views like this are exactly why I keep adding trips to my own bucket list while planning everyone else’s. 😂✈️🚢

I’m sending out quotes for some seriously fun trips today. Royal Caribbean with 3rd & 4th guests free, Norwegian cruises at 50% off, which my client is wanting their 11-day round-trip Sydney, Australia cruise that has me wanting to pack my own suitcase 😂, plus some gorgeous luxury options for some clients in Portugal. 🇦🇺🇵🇹🚢

This is one of my favorite parts of the job, finding the right trip, the right deal, and something that makes my clients excited to hit “book.”

If you’ve been thinking about a cruise or Europe, this may be your sign to start looking. 👀✈️
