The East Grand Rapids Schools Foundation does such great thing for our community, We are glad to do our part.

We just receive this email:

Dear Carl,

The East Grand Rapids Schools Foundation just wrapped up our spring grants cycle, approving funding of 34 classroom enhancement grants, totaling nearly $100,000 ($96,665.43 to be exact). Thanks to donors like White Mitten Movers, students and teachers are finishing the school year with new opportunities and experiences. The approved grants will benefit students at all our schools.

Here are just a few examples of the grants made possible because of our donors:
March Book Madness at the elementary buildings
Dissection supplies for middle school science classes
Electrical circuits for high school physics classes
An elementary after-school fishing club
Middle school robotics
Equitable access for the high school choir and orchestra trip to Disney World and Universal Studios
Tools for all special education teachers and school social workers from preschool to high school
