Here are the Flame guards I had made for the uuni 2s, who wants one?
These are $25 each + shipping if interested.
I had them made from 16 ga. Stainless Steel so that they would last as long as your uuni. They are sized to fit under the stone, and you can adjust how close to the fire box you want to push them.

Getting some flame diverters/guards made for the uuni 2s from 16ga SS with a scalloped top edge to prevent the flame from vortexing down over the edge. These should be ready to ship before the New Year. Share with anyone you think might want one.
I know these aren't necessary, and are based on my experimentation with different styles of pizza dough, I noticed that with the guard/shield installed the edge closest to the burner didn't get as burnt and I had better luck with the store bought dough with the guard in place as it allowed for a little longer bake time and directed the heat to the top of the oven vs. coming from the side.
These have not been vetted by the manufacturer of the uuni 2s or any other wood fired pizza ovens where you might choose to use these. I'll post a picture on the website when these are available. They are based on the design shown in the uuni community by Mark Korolainen. These will be $25 USD + shipping (FedEx Ground or USPS).
