I love when people ask me tips & tricks of all things cruising, especially with a baby! 🚢

Here’s a simple Mom hack. When having to wash bottles, cups, etc. in your tiny stateroom bathroom the easiest thing to do is: cut up cheap sponges from DG and soak with Dawn. Let sit for a couple of days and place in ziploc. Each time you need to wash a bottle/cup you have a clean soap infused sponge that can be tossed afterwards.

I also get a bucket (from the bar - a beer bucket 😅) to transfer clean/dirty bottles from bathroom to counter in stateroom. I call it my wash bucket. As things get dirty again, I stack them in the bucket and wash at the end of the day.

✨ A Note About My Travel Services ✨

Over the past several months, I’ve received an overwhelming number of calls, texts, and private messages about cruising. While I truly love sharing my expertise and passion, I also want to be transparent about how I work going forward.

My services as a travel agent have always been free because I believe in making travel planning accessible. However, my time, knowledge, and experience are valuable—I’ve spent years learning the ins and outs of the cruise world so I can serve my clients at the highest level. This is how I provide for my family, and I take that responsibility seriously.

👉 Here’s what you can expect moving forward:

If you’re in the curiosity stage, I’m more than happy to answer questions and guide you—communication and respect of my time are all I ask in return.

If I’ve spent significant time (over an hour) researching and providing quotes, and you decide not to move forward without communicating, please know I will no longer be available for service. Everyone gets one free pass.

Out of respect for my clients, I cannot continue to provide advice or support if my services are not being used. If you choose to book elsewhere, I will not be able to step in later to resolve issues.

I say this with both grace and pride: I am one of the best of the best when it comes to cruising. If you see the value in that, we will work wonderfully together. If not, then we may not be the right fit—and that’s okay.
I am holding myself accountable to these boundaries because I owe it to both my clients and my family.

Thank you for your understanding, your respect, and your trust—it means more than you know. 💙⚓️

Are balconies staterooms safe? YES! Lets talk. 🤪

Balcony views are one of the BEST parts of cruising, but they also come with serious safety rules that should never be ignored.

👉 Standing on furniture, sitting on railings, or letting kids play unattended may seem “harmless fun,” but it’s exactly how people fall overboard.

Balcony Safety 101:

✅ Never climb or sit on railings
✅ No standing on chairs, tables, or stools
✅ Kids should never be left alone outside
✅ Keep balcony doors secured in strong winds
✅ Never throw anything overboard
✅ Keep balcony doors locked. (The locks are located at the top of the door away from younger children)

Breaking these rules isn’t just risky but it can result in fines or even removal from the ship.

At the end of the day, cruising is SAFE! Balconies are for relaxing and enjoying the ocean views, not for testing limits just as the SAME as staying in a high rise condo in Florida. (Except cruise railings are much taller!) 😌

Let’s keep the fun safe and the memories happy.

Travel Hack: Pictured below is a great $10 travel hack when traveling with young children. Place one on the cabin door and balcony door for extra measure and peace of mind.
