Part-Time Junk Removal Crew Member Wanted
Junk Hubris LLC is looking for a dependable crew member to help serve customers throughout the Portland metro area.
This is currently a temporary, part-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week. As the business grows, there is potential for the position to become permanent and/or full-time.
What to expect
No two weeks are the same. Some days may be 10-12 hour days, while others may only be 2-4 hours. You may work several days in a row, or you may have days off during the week.
Start and end times will vary based on customer bookings. Some days may begin as early as 7:00 AM, while others may not start until later in the morning or afternoon. Flexibility is essential. If you’re looking for the exact same schedule every week, this probably isn’t the right fit.

Integrity, honesty, professionalism, and attention to detail are non-negotiable. We treat every customer’s home with respect, protect their belongings, communicate clearly, and leave the space cleaner than we found it whenever possible. We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about doing the job right, even when no one is watching.
Job duties
• Loading and unloading furniture, appliances, construction debris, yard waste, and household junk
• Heavy lifting and physically demanding work
• Working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Protecting customers’ homes and belongings while moving items
• Keeping the truck and equipment clean and organized
• Providing friendly, professional customer service
Requirements
• Physically capable of performing demanding manual labor and regularly lifting 75+ lbs (heavier items are team lifts)
• Valid driver’s license and must be eligible for coverage under our commercial auto insurance policy
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a small team
• Strong work ethic with integrity and attention to detail
Experience in junk removal, moving, construction, landscaping, demolition, or similar work is helpful, but character, reliability, and willingness to learn are more important than experience.
Hours: Guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours as the business grows.
Pay: TBD based on experience and qualifications.
