A day at the dump!

POV of what a landfill looks like, most days it’s extremely busy with multiple large trucks , Trailers and long lines

However there are certain days and times where it’s almost completely empty and you get in and out in about 20-30 minutes. Sometimes it can take up to two hours to get done dumping! 😳

Did you know the average “lifespan” of a landfill like this one is about 20-30 years, mean it’s in use for that amount of time.

This landfill specifically has about 40 years of life left it’s got a permit to extend its life, it’s been operating since 1984!
