I caught this Kokanee In Montana. The yellow and orange floaties serve 2 purposes. First for attraction, Secondly to keep the weighted treble hook off the bottom where the snags are. Notice where the hook Is?

1958 Crestliner Flying Crest.
I bought this boat In Idaho over 20 years ago.
Moved to Montana, brought the boat to Montana a year later.
It sat In Montana for 14 years waiting for an engine.
Moved back to Idaho and finally finished the engine installation and It's registered.

24 mph with the 1959 Mark 58A 45 hp motor.
Even caught a little bass.
Just goes to show you, I don't give up.

This is a 1966 Mercury 6 hp. I rebuilt the carburetor, fuel pump, and replaced the fuel lines. It runs good. This is what a failing water pump looks like. It's better to find this in a barrel than out on the lake fishing.

This is a 1969 Texas Maid 15' aluminum boat. It has a 1973 Johnson 50 hp and an electric trolling motor. It is a v-hull set up for fishing. This video was taken at the Causeway in Helena 2023.
