Part 1: The Honey Extraction Process 🍯
Before honey can be extracted, the wax caps sealing each cell have to be removed - this step is called uncapping.

We use an uncapping roller to gently break the wax caps so the honey can flow out during extraction, while keeping the comb intact.

Raw honey doesn’t come from a bottle, it’s a whole process, and this is just the beginning.

We are honored to share that Bee Masters Farm was featured nationally on CBS Saturday Morning to tell our story - from the devastation of losing hives during Hurricane Helene to the rebuilding and recovery that followed.

We are extremely grateful, thankful, and deeply appreciative for David & Nicole Tepper, owners of the Carolina Panthers, and the incredible work of Global Empowerment Mission (GEM). Because of their support, we were awarded a grant that allowed us to begin rebuilding what was lost. Their generosity has made a lasting impact on our farm, our business, and our future.

To everyone who has reached out, placed an order, or supported us after the broadcast - thank you. Your encouragement means everything to us. We are currently pouring, labeling, packing, and shipping every order by hand, so if there is a small delay, thank you for your patience and understanding.

As a business, we want to express how thankful we are for the support of our community and partners. This past year has brought its challenges, but has also brought so many blessings and new opportunities.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude as we get to announce that our business/family farm was recently featured on CBS Saturday Morning for receiving grant funding to rebuild our operation after experiencing hardship in the wake of Hurricane Helene. We feel extremely fortunate to have been selected to share our story and to be able to continue to serve our community, and now others across the nation.
