This is just one reason I'm passionate about using natural products. There are SO many toxins in your typical store-bought sunscreen and, if that alone isn't bad enough, the sun basically bakes them into your body...it makes me cringe 😬

I have many customers who have turned away from store-bought sunscreen because they (or their children) have suffered chemical burns or sunscreen-induced "sunburns." They have great results using Shady Lane Farm Sunscreen because it's completely free of those harmful chemicals.

In addition to using all natural, safe, skin-nourishing ingredients, I use zinc oxide that is classified as "non-nano" which means it does not seep into your bloodstream like the zinc oxide used in most sunscreens.

Study authors say the results don't mean consumers should stop using sunscreen, but noted that more research needs to be done.

For those who don't know the story behind Shady Lane Farm sunscreen, I thought I'd share 😉

I started making my own sunscreen in 2014 because I couldn't find one I was happy with to use on my two year old daughter. All the natural brands I tried were either too thick and difficult to apply, too expensive, contained ingredients I wasn't crazy about, smelled funny, or all of the above 😆

I decided to make my own with 100% natural, skin-nourishing, child-safe ingredients that rubbed in easily, kept us safe from harmful rays and, of course, smelled good!

In 2017, when I made my yearly batch for our family, I posted a picture of it and received over 80 requests from friends who wanted their own! That's the summer Shady Lane Farm Sunscreen was born and it has only grown since! Last year, I received orders from all over the United States and even a couple requests from overseas!

Every summer when orders start rolling in, it makes me sooo happy to see so many people seeking out natural products over toxic ones for their families! Here's to another summer of helping families stay safe in the sun! ☀️😎💕

The preorder period is always the best time to order because it gets you the BEST price and ensures you’ll have your products early. This year, it’s ESPECIALLY important to order early because I’m due with Baby #3 👶 in August (yay!) and I won’t continue making products as far into the summer as I typically do.

The special preorder prices are:
$12 for All Natural Sunscreen (normally $15)
$10 for Bug Repellent Bars (normally $12)

Preorders are open until Friday, March 8th. Prices will increase after the preorder period ends.
