Introducing: Uncommon Places

One thing you’ll quickly learn about me...I’m endlessly curious about the world.

Of course, I appreciate celebrated landmarks and iconic destinations. But I’m especially drawn to the places, traditions, flavors, and experiences that make me pause and say: “Tell me more.”

-The village most visitors pass by.
-The unexpected local custom.
-The remarkable landscape hiding beyond the familiar route.
-The experience you return home still talking about.

So I’m beginning a new series called:
Uncommon Places

Each week, I’ll introduce you to a place, tradition, or travel experience that has captured my curiosity. Some may be close to home. Others may be halfway around the world. All will remind us that there is always something fascinating waiting beyond the familiar.

Because, for me, travel is not only about where we go.
It’s about what we notice, whom we meet, and what we discover along the way.

Now I would love to hear from you:
What is the most unexpected place or experience you have discovered while traveling?

Welcome to a more curious way of seeing the world.

I was pleased to host and es**rt this vivacious group of women from the NCL, Inc. Official on a fun filled and philanthropic trip to Napa Valley’s w**e country. We had the most memorable time! Thanks Becky Canales for creating this reel. You captured all of our moments! ❤️

A few scenes from our small group adventuring to the country of Morocco in North Africa. This international trip took months (almost a year!) of careful planning, budgeting, and prepping our group of 22 travelers. For this 10-day trip, we had a dedicated English-speaking tour guide plus a dedicated driver for our luxury bus. It was an unforgettable trip!

We traveled to Cairo, Egypt a few months ago and I am here to share some of the scenes-some are “touristy” and some are “off the beaten path” spots. It was a perfect combination for our time there. I’ll be back, Egypt!
