Happy Mother’s Day 💐

Being a dog mom can feel lonely sometimes. You love, protect, nurture, worry, sacrifice, and care for them with your whole heart… yet so many people still say, “well, you’re not really a mom.”

But the sleepless nights, the vet visits, the routines, the anxiety, the unconditional love, and the heartbreak are all real. They depend on us for their entire lives, and we carry that responsibility every single day.

So today, I’m celebrating the dog moms too. The ones whose hearts beat for paws instead of people. The love is still maternal, the bond is still family, and the grief and joy are just as deep. 🖤🐾👑

Today I brought my beloved Viper home and laid him to rest in Mom’s memorial garden. For nearly 12 years, he was a constant source of love, loyalty, and comfort—something I will carry with me always.

This next month will be a time of reflection for me. I’ll be honoring my mom’s memory as we approach two years since her passing, her birthday in May, and Mother’s Day. During this time, I’ll also be taking space to refocus and thoughtfully decide the direction I want to take in my business.

Viper, my beloved Great Dane, passed away today, leaving behind a space that can never be filled and a love that will never fade.

Viper was the definition of a good boy—sweet, calm, and full of a quiet, unconditional love.

Sharing a birthday month made the bond even more special—a connection that will forever make September feel like his.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in imagining Viper now with angel wings—whole, strong, and free. Running without pain, resting in peace, and watching over us with the same gentle love he gave every day of his life.

He was never just a dog. He was family. He was love. He was everything a good boy should be—and more.

Viper will be missed beyond words and loved beyond a lifetime.

Wait for me at the Rainbow Bridge. 🕊️🌈🐾

Quick Update

As of today, Viper is in good spirits, though we understand our time with him is limited. My focus right now is on being present and making the most of these moments with him.

Providing care overnight has been physically demanding, so I’ve needed to rest during the day when possible. As a result, I haven’t been able to update inventory or prepare new items as quickly as usual. I will continue to share updates over the coming weeks as I’m able.

Personal post.

My sweet Viper is getting older and slowing down. While we’re doing our best to enjoy every moment we have, it’s hard not to think about the day he won’t be with us anymore.

Sunday evening, Viper started vomiting and had a really rough night. I truly thought we were going to lose him. Thankfully, it turned out to be an upset stomach, and he’s now recovering well.

I’d like to ask for prayers—not only for Viper, that when his time comes it’s peaceful—but also for the girls and me, that we have the strength to get through it. For a moment, I thought I might have to make that incredibly difficult decision to let him go… something I’m not ready for and deeply dread.
