After our Hawaiian cruise we took a few extra days away at Disney's Aulani Resort & Spa at Ko O'lina!!

It was such a beautiful property-the pools and water areas offer activities for everyone.

There’s many food options on property!

We took time here to relax and recharge.

The spa is amazing as well.

Kauai Day 2 6/26/26

I couldn’t have planned this last full day better if I tried! It was truly magical!

We got an uber ride to Po‘ipū Beach !
Turtles were resting there on the beach! We found a spot to put our stuff and went into the water. It was so clear and fish galore!
I didn’t have my waterproof case for my phone 😞. I saw more fish species today than snorkeling in Maui!! Turtles swimming by or next to us!! Amazing and dreams come true!!

For lunch we had Puka Dogs!! I was very skeptical at first but let’s say amazing!!

We went back in the water and put a little hot dog bun in and fish swarmed all around!!
(This was a tip from our guide the day before).

We had to get back onto the ship so we dried off and got a shave ice from the snack shack!!

Kauai Day 5 6/25/26 Part 2
Smith Family Luau
We showered and changed to meet our motor coach for the Smith Family Luau.
We toured the gardens, which are absolutely breathtaking. The plants and trees are beyond amazing, and the fragrance is exceptional.

Then, we attended the Pig Ceremony, which provided interesting details about the preparation of the pig.

Following this, we enjoyed cocktail hour.
Our meal was blessed, and then we proceeded to enjoy our food.

The meal options included mahi mahi, pork, chicken, and teriyaki beef, accompanied by pasta salad, green salad, vegetables, mashed potatoes, and poi. Dessert consisted of coconut cake, coconut jello, and several other items.

We then proceeded to the Luau seating. The dances lasted approximately 45 minutes.

Day 5 6/25/26 Part 1

Kauai

We ventured to Kauai Backcountry for cave tubing!

We took a taxi and got scheduled with our driver for our ride back as the location is a bit remote!!

We checked in and got our gear and rode with our group to our location.

We tubes through caves and it was quite fun!!

At the end we had a sandwich/chips/cookie which was included with our adventure.

Kona Day 4 6/24/26

Today we took it easy. We were not in a hurry to get going. We had no set plans or itinerary.

We got off the ship and walked towards Kona Brewing Company

We did a little shopping on the way!!

We ordered a few appetizers and the men got beer flights!

When we finished we walked around the shops near port and went to the farmers market!!

We got shaved ice!!

On the way back to the ship we got stuck in a downpour!! Talk about soaking wet!!

Hilo Day 3 6/23/26

Today our group did a private tour that included Volcano National Park.

We met our driver bright and early.

1st stop was Richardson Beach
This is a black sand beach. We saw several turtles in the tide pools and a mongoose.

2nd stop Lava Tubes
This was absolutely amazing to experience. Watch your head !!

3rd stop
Observation of the volcano 🌋 just amazing to experience this and so breathtaking.
We missed some small lava flows just before and after our tour.

4th stop
Steam vents

We made a stop at the volcano national park shop

We had sandwiches prepared by our tour company.

We also visited a waterfall!! Just a quick hike.

We drove and saw Banyan trees

And lastly we visited a candy shop

Back to the ship.

Maui Day 2 6/22/26

Snorkeling today Molokini Crater and swimming with Sea Turtles!!

We booked a private company for a wonderful adventure exploring the crater and swimming with sea turtles.
