There is a quiet kind of peace that comes when you stop trying to rush God’s timing.
For a long time, culture taught us that singleness is something to escape from—as if life doesn’t really begin until someone else arrives. But this season has taught me something different.
Singleness is not a waiting room. It’s a classroom.

In this season, I’ve learned how to be content.

How to build a life that is whole, not half.

How to hear God clearly without the noise of rushing into things that look good in the moment but have no covenant attached to them.

I truly believe that God has already handpicked the man who will one day be my husband. And I believe that when the time is right, our paths will cross exactly as they’re meant to.

But until then, I’m not chasing temporary moments of pleasure that could cost me the peace I’ve worked so hard to cultivate.

This season has been a blessing in disguise. It’s given me space to grow, to heal, to build, and to become the woman I’m meant to be—without forcing a story that God hasn’t finished writing yet.

Contentment doesn’t mean I’ve stopped believing in love.
It means I trust God enough to wait for the kind that comes with purpose, alignment, and covenant.

And until that day comes, I’m grateful for the quiet, the growth, and the grace of this season.

One thing I know for certain- The right love won’t require me to abandon the peace God taught me in my singleness.
