3 TSA rules you always forget! ✈️❌
Ever had to throw away a brand-new lotion at airport security? 🛑 It ruins the vacation vibe before you even board. As a travel agent, here are 3 strict TSA rules travelers constantly mix up—save this post so you don’t get flagged on your next trip!
1️⃣ The "Spreadables" Rule: If you can pump it, squeeze it, spread it, or spill it, it counts as a liquid. This means peanut butter, hummus, creamy cheeses, and aerosol dry shampoos must follow the 3-1-1 rule (under 3.4 oz / 100ml) or go in checked luggage.
2️⃣ Powders Have Limits: Any powder-like substances (think baby powder, protein powder, or cosmetics) greater than 12 oz / 350ml must be placed in a separate bin for X-ray screening. Pack them in checked bags to avoid delays!
3️⃣ The Battery Trait: High-capacity portable power banks and loose lithium-ion batteries are strictly prohibited in checked luggage because they are fire hazards. They must be kept in your carry-on baggage.
🎁 Want to breeze through the gate? We are giving away a completely packed Airport Survival Kitincluding a premium TSA-approved clear toiletry bag and a fast-charging portable power bank!
