Autism Bag Project of the Upstate

Autism Bag Project of the Upstate Welcome to Autism Bag Project of the Upstate, our goal is to help create and provide autism sensory bags for our local fire departments, and first responders.

The Autism Bag Project of the Upstate hopes to be able to provide autism sensory bags to every fire department in the Upstate, so they can be better equipped when responding to calls involving children with autism in our community. This project is being started by two local Upstate moms Halie, and Ashley, who saw a need in our community to help our first responders be more prepared to help the chi

ldren in our community with autism. Our goal is to create sensory bags that will donated to our local fire departments, so that they can keep these bags on their trucks to be used when they respond to a call that may involve a child with autism. The sensory bags will contain, several different items that can be used to provide the child comfort, in what is possibly an extremely scary and stressful situation for them. With your help we hope to be able to provide these bags to every fire department in the upstate.
