Leaves Deer Island 8:30 AM to 5:30PM , Leaves Campobello 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM hourly. We invite you to sail beautiful Passamaquoddy Bay, our unique corner of the Bay of Fundy.Visit the Fundy Isles of Deer Island and Campobello NB.From NB enjoy the free ferry ride to Deer Island then on to Campobello with us. Attractions in the area include: Roosevelt Campobello International Park, whale watching and fishing excursions, sea kayaking, golfing,hiking,lighthouses, beachcombing, good seafood restaurants and reasonable accommodations. Camping and picnicing are also available there.

The Seafood Shack at Point Star — Season Update. It’s hard to believe, but our season is coming to an end!

The Seafood Shack at Point Star will be closing for the season on October 10th.
Our hours for this final week will be:
📅 Thursday, Friday & Saturday
⏰ 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
We want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of our wonderful customers for your support throughout the season. We truly appreciate every visit, every order, and every kind word! ❤️
But don’t worry — you can still get your lobster fix!
🦞 Our retail market will be open by appointment during November & December for live lobster sales.

We hope to see you one more time before we close for the season! Come on in, grab your favourites, or just say hi. Thank you all for making a great 1st take-out and 3rd fish market season for us! We are looking forward to seeing you all again next Spring. ♥️🦞

THE FERRY WILL OPERATE UNTIL OCTOBER 12th/2026. Please note : Effective Thursday Oct 1st to Monday Oct 12th schedule is as follows: Leaving Deer Island 8:30- 5:30
Leaving Campobello 9:00-6:00 hourly.

Friday September 25th: Ferry will be operating leaving Deer Island at 12:30 pm today. Please watch for updates later in the day in case there is a change in the weather.

In 8 years of Seaglass Septembers, we have only had to cancel one other weekend (back in 2022 for Hurricane Fiona).

The weather for this weekend looks different depending on which side of the Border you are looking at - and we are right in the middle of that. The chances of the ferry having to cancel runs due to the winds are high, and I don't want to be responsible for anyone getting stranded here lol.

Either way, we will be getting rain and wind all weekend. How much, and how damaging, remains to be seen but Islanders know what a true Nor'easter can do! 🌊

Thursday,Sept. 24th. There will be no 6:30 trip from Deer Island and no 7:00 from Campobello today. To be on the safe side they will be going to tie up at the wharf. So sorry for any inconvenience.🌊
