Our former president, Grant Vogel, passed away at his son’s home in Texas last night, but his legacy will continue to inspire us to preserve the Amador Central for years to come. Grant's unwavering dedication was a testament to his unrelenting spirit. Let's honor his memory by continuing his mission. Grant's impact will stay with us.

As we close out the year, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for Amador County. We are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful, generous, and connected community.

With your support, we accomplished incredible things this year—strengthening our nonprofit partners and addressing our community’s greatest needs. Together, we gathered our nonprofit friends to present checks from this year’s Giving Tuesday, which raised an astounding $903,718.36 and supported 73 local nonprofit organizations.
