Embracing defensive driving habits will save lives.
Avoid slamming on the brakes when a semi is behind you,
and frequently check your rearview mirror.
In ideal conditions, a semi-truck cruising at 65 mph requires 525 feet, or five to six seconds, to come to a complete halt - a staggering distance equivalent to 1½ football fields.
It is not wise to pull out in front of us either.
Let's drive responsibly and ensure we all return home to our loved ones every night.
