If you are flying with Delta soon, there’s an important onboard service change to know especially for short flights.

🚨 What’s Changing (Starting May 19, 2026)
Delta is eliminating complimentary snack and beverage service in:

Main Cabin
Comfort+

👉 Applies to flights under 350 miles
👉 Impacts ~450 daily short-haul routes

🥤 What You’ll Get Instead

Flights 350+ miles: Full snack + beverage service remains ✅
Flights under 350 miles:
❌ No snacks
❌ No beverages
First Class: Full service still included (no changes) ✨

✈️ Example Routes Affected
Los Angeles → San Francisco
New York (JFK) → Boston
Atlanta → Charlotte

📊 Why This Is Happening
This shift is part of Delta’s move toward more consistent service across its network, and it comes during a time of major airline industry changes including the recent shutdown of Spirit Airlines and rising operational costs.

If you can spill it, spray it, spread it, pour it on your salad, or dip your pizza in it… it needs to be 3.4 oz (100 ml) or less in your carry-on.
