Trash2Transport

Trash2Transport Trash 2 Transport Project is an Eco-Minded effort to put usable materials into service and keep them out of the land fill.

The short and sweet of The Trash 2 Transport Project is the mission statement we've created:

Keeping reusable materials out of the landfill is our mission. We collect dump-bound items and rework them into useful goods for local non-profit organizations. Our first project has been collecting 50 lb bags, from dry foods like rice or beans, and converting them into reusable grocery bags for Northwest Area food banks. We are continuously looking for raw materials for our next endeavor.

Treats for the Wednesday eve crew of Northwest Harvest volunteers at the Northwest Harvest Kent Warehouse, provided by Fraid Knots. We call them PERFECT Snickerdoodles. It's our favorite Snicker Cookie recipe.

http://cookiesandcups.com/perfect-snickerdoodles/

KNOTS had to make a couple substitutions from the pub'd recipe.

SUBs - First, we double the batch and use a SMALL cookie scoop. This makes about 10 1/2 DOZEN
Next, we use 1/2 cup each salted and unsalted butter along with 1 cup of shortening.
Finally, we amp up the Cinny flavor by using 3 TSPs of Cinnamon.
