THAT’S A WRAP! 🎬🧳

The Travel Advisor hat is officially OFF… and VACATION MODE IS ON! 🏔️🍎🚂

The laptop is closed, the suitcase is packed-ish, and it’s time to trade emails and booking requests for mountain views, train rides, apple orchards, waterfalls, a drive-in movie, and celebrating my girl’s 12th birthday! 🎂❤️

I’m taking this time to completely unplug, slow down, and soak up some much-needed family time. These are the moments that matter most. 🥰

So if you need me over the next few days, I’ll be somewhere in the North Georgia mountains, probably eating an apple pie. 🍎

I’ll see y’all back here after Labor Day! 🇺🇸

5 Things We’re Looking Forward to in the North Georgia Mountains! 🍎🏔️

We’re counting down to our North Georgia mountain adventure starting this weekend, and we are ALL ready for some family time, fresh mountain air, and a little slowing down! ❤️

Here are 5 things we’re most excited about:

🚂 1. Blue Ridge Scenic Railway
We LOVE a good train ride! The kids’ favorite so far is the Grand Canyon Railway, so let’s see if this one can beat it!

🎬 2. Swan Drive In Movie
A drive in movie in the mountains? YES, PLEASE! 🍿

🍎 3. ALL the Apple Orchards
My husband loves visiting the orchards, and after our Pigeon Forge trip last year, where we visited the Apple Barn every day for homemade apple pie and cider, we’re continuing the tradition!

🇩🇪 4. Helen, Georgia
We can’t wait to explore this little Bavarian inspired mountain town, eat, shop, and take in all the scenery!

💦 5. Amicalola Falls
This one is definitely at the top of MY list. The views are going to be incredible!

🎂 And then there’s Jordan’s 12th birthday…

My heart hurt a little when she told me this year, “Please, no theme park vacation for my birthday. I want a fun, relaxing birthday like our Pigeon Forge trip.”

So, of course, I had to make that happen. ❤️

Her birthday request?
A day at the North Georgia Zoo, including some of the animal experiences, followed by her favorite dinner: RAMEN! 🍜

And because ramen isn’t exactly easy to find in North Georgia, we searched until we found a spot in Dahlonega for after the zoo. 🙌

Zoo ➡️ Dahlonega ➡️ Ramen ➡️ 12th Birthday Magic! 🎉

I think this trip is going to be the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and family memories. ❤️

North Georgia, here we come! 🍎🚂🏔️🍜

And when we get home… it’s on to our next adventure: Philadelphia & Washington, DC in November/December!

🏔️🎂 OUT OF OFFICE 8/28 to 9/6 🎂🏔️

The bags are being packed, the mountains are calling, and we are officially heading to
Northern Georgia for a very special birthday celebration! 🥳💕

From Friday, August 28 through Sunday, September 6, I’ll be stepping away from my inbox, putting work on pause, and soaking up some much-needed family time. ❤️

That means I’ll be unavailable during these dates and will return to the office on Monday, September 7th.

Thank you for giving me the gift of time with my family. I’ll be back rested, recharged, and ready to get back to casting dreams and planning your next adventure! ✨

This sweet family is headed to Walt Disney World for a little sunshine, pixie dust, and some much-needed family time! ☀️🏰💫

They’ll be calling Boulder Ridge at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge home for their stay, and I couldn’t be more excited about this resort choice! 🌲🐻

Mardi Gras 2027 is officially 170 days away, and Walt Disney World vacations are BOOKING! 🏰✨

I currently have ONE spot left for check-in on Sunday, February 7th! 👀

Today we’re heading to Jurassic Park River Adventure at Universal’s Islands of Adventure! 🎢

So… who takes the award for the BIGGEST DROP? 👀

THIS RIDE! 🦖💦

That’s right, Jurassic Park River Adventure has an 85-foot drop!

One minute, you’re peacefully floating through the beautiful Jurassic era, enjoying the dinosaurs…

And the next thing you know, you’re face-to-face with a GIANT T-Rex trying to escape! 🦖😳

But there’s only ONE way out…

DOWN! ⬇️

And did I mention that an 85-foot drop happens in the dark?!

Oh, and here’s another fun fact: this attraction uses approximately 1.5 MILLION gallons of water!💦

That’s A LOT of water!

So tell me…
