One of my favorite parts of travel is seeing destinations beyond the beaches, resorts, and postcards.
Just days ago I was walking the colorful streets of Curaçao, meeting locals, learning about the island, and experiencing the incredible pride they have for their country. 🇨🇼
Now I’m back home watching them compete on one of the biggest stages in sports.
As a travel advisor, moments like this remind me why I love what I do. Travel connects us to places in a way that changes how we see the world. Once you’ve stood in a destination, met its people, and felt its culture, you can’t help but root for them.
So call it an unpopular opinion if you want… but I’m cheering for Curaçao. The smallest country to ever reach the World Cup and a reminder that heart, passion, and determination can take you a long way.

The countdown is officially on! I’m leaving next Monday and spending this week doing what every travel lover knows well... planning, packing, and getting way too excited. 😍

I’ll be heading to Curaçao to learn, explore, relax, and experience everything from the colorful streets of Otrobanda to the famous walk across the Queen Emma Bridge into Punda.
