π¨ CARNIVAL CRUISERS β VIFP HAS OFFICIALLY CHANGED! π’β
As of September 1, 2026, Carnival's longtime VIFP Club has transitioned into the new Carnival Rewardsβ’ program.
So what does that actually mean for YOU?
The biggest change is this:
β Your Carnival status is no longer primarily based on how many cruise days you've sailed.
Under Carnival Rewards, your status is now largely based on Status Qualifying Stars earned from eligible Carnival spending.
Here's the easy way to remember it:
π° POINTS = Rewards you can use
β STARS = Determine your Carnival status
For many eligible Carnival purchases, members earn:
β 3 Status Qualifying Stars per $1 spent
π° 3 Carnival Rewards Points per $1 spent
Your VIFP number also becomes your Carnival Guest Number.
And don't worry β Carnival hasn't forgotten about longtime cruisers. Your previous sailing history still matters through Carnival's new Milestone Recognition program. π
