EARTHQUAKE FELT ACROSS LAS VEGAS VALLEY
A 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 1:47 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, with the epicenter located about 15 miles west of Las Vegas. The quake was confirmed by the Nevada Seismological Laboratory, and shaking was reported across the valley.
An RTC traffic camera near Nellis & Harmon captured the moment the quake rolled through the east side of town.

🏠 If you’re indoors: Get under sturdy furniture, protect your head and neck, and stay away from windows.
🚗 If you’re driving: Pull over to a safe location away from overpasses, bridges, power lines, and trees. Stay in your vehicle until the shaking stops.
