*** SIGNIFICANT WIND EVENT EXPECTED TOMORROW- HIGH WIND WARNING NOW ISSUED FOR ALL OF GREATER LIMA REGION ***

Hi friends! I have an urgent weather message to pass along. A High Wind WARNING is now in place from 5 AM Friday until 8 PM Friday for ALL counties in the Greater Lima Region. This includes, but not limited to, Allen, Auglaize, Defiance, Hancock, Hardin, Henry, Logan, Mercer, Paulding, Putnam, Shelby, Van Wert, and Wyandot Counties. Sustained winds of 30 to 35 mph with frequent wind gusts to 60 mph are expected. This does pose a risk for power outages along with minor tree, power line, and structural damage, especially to weakened or vulnerable objects. Driving will be difficult at times, especially for high-profile vehicles.

/7 PM CDT/ FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Southwest to west 30 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
expected.
* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan, and
northwest Ohio.
* WHEN...From 5 AM EDT /4 AM CDT/ to 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ Friday.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds can blow down trees and power lines.
Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially
for high profile vehicles.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Avoid windows during the windstorms. Watch for falling debris and
tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive.
