Every first-time Disney cruiser tries to do everything. Every one of them comes home exhausted.

Disney Cruise Line is packed with little details that make the experience feel special — and knowing a few things before you board makes a real difference in how the week actually goes.

Here's what I tell my clients:

📱 Download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before embarkation. Not in the terminal. Before.

🎭 Make time for the Broadway-style entertainment. It's easy to skip when you're tired, and it's consistently one of the things people love most.

🍦 Take advantage of the included dining and snacks. You've already paid for them.

🏝 Be ready for your island day so you're not scrambling that morning.

💙 And don't feel like you have to do everything.

That last one is the tip nobody wants to hear and everybody needs. Some of my favorite cruise memories came from sitting on deck, watching the ocean, and just being there. No schedule, no plan, nothing to get to.
