It’s Homecoming weekend in Lincoln! 🏈🌽 Plan for extra traffic around Memorial Stadium and downtown as fans arrive for the game.

We’re proud to partner with the Lincoln Police Department to help direct and manage traffic before and after the game. 🦺

Allow an additional 30 minutes to an hour for your trip into and around downtown.

Before you leave:

🚗 Plan your route: Check traffic conditions and choose the best route for your trip.

🚦 Follow directions: Follow traffic control signs and instructions from officers in the area.

🚶 Share the road: Drive carefully and watch for people walking, biking and driving near event venues.

🅿️ Plan your parking: Choose from several City-operated garages, including options east of 10th Street. Visit City of Lincoln Parking's website to view garage locations, check availability and reserve prepaid parking.

🅿️ Use Zone 90: On Husker football home game days, use Zone 90 in the Passport Parking app to park at downtown meters all day for $15.

📱 Stay informed: Check Waze or 511 Nebraska for real-time traffic information.

🚗 It happened! Bring on the turn lane!

The new eastbound Nebraska Parkway to southbound 70th Street turn lane is now open, and all lanes through the intersection will be open later today.

You may still see cones in the area while crews complete final project tasks, including permanent crosswalk and turn lane markings, final grading and seeding, and a few electrical items.

Some of this work may require short-duration lane closures during off-peak hours, particularly while crews complete final grading around the new turn lane.

Thank you for your patience as crews complete the final project details.

👷 Here comes a little color along O Street! Construction crews poured and leveled colored concrete earlier this week as part of the new sidewalk and streetscape design for Project "O" Street.
