Here's something nobody tells you about getting your vehicle detailed:

For the first few days afterward, you become VERY protective of it.

Suddenly you're wiping your shoes.
You're giving the drive-thru bag the side-eye.
And anyone attempting to leave a wrapper behind is taking their life into their own hands. 😂

Maybe there's a coffee cup from Monday, a jacket you meant to bring inside Wednesday, and something in the backseat that you're pretty sure has been there since June.

Quick question: When was the last time you were actually excited to get into your car?

Not because you were going somewhere fun. Just because the inside felt GOOD.

That's the part of detailing that's hard to capture in a before-and-after photo. You can see the clean—but you can't photograph that first moment when you open the door afterward.

That's the feeling we're really after.

Treasure Tuesday!

Usually our Tiny Cup of Treasures is filled with things that have been forgotten for a few weeks... maybe a few months.

This week's find looks like it's been hanging around a little longer.

An old newspaper clipping about Sandhills golf courses making the national Top 100 was tucked away in this vehicle—and clearly important enough to save.

We're not sure how long it had been along for the ride, but some treasures aren't trash just because they're old!

A good wash takes care of the dirt and grime. Adding wax takes it a step further—enhancing that freshly cleaned finish while adding a layer of protection to the paint.

Clean. Shiny. Protected.

Every once in a while, a vehicle gives us the chance to have a little fun.

Most newer vehicles have low-pile carpet, which doesn't leave much room for getting creative.

The carpet understood the assignment.
