Owning two businesses keeps me very busy, continually learning from mistakes and being grateful for the realizations that come along the way. Finding balance between two businesses and "life" can be challenging.

Too much time is wasted creating Facebook posts about events and work instead of creating a page/blog directly on my website, sharing it on social media and leading people to my website. All things should lead to my website.

I had been putting off updating my website because of time and the thousands of images to gather, some to scan and/or photograph and then upload and update the website. Also, going through thousands of photos on my old computers and zip drives to find images of events and press/articles, etc. I have just a taste of the drawings and photos but am looking forward to getting as much as I can on the site.

My 95th art opening was Tuesday and had a very successful Maker's Day at the Livingston Library this past Saturday. I want my art business to move forward, which includes gallery shows (group and solo) juried shows/fairs, household products, events, workshops, private parties, fundraisers, etc.

I am not trained in building websites but have created two.
I am focusing on the art site right now. Formatting can be challenging because often the changes need to be made in the desktop version as well as the mobile version.

SO, I can waste more time writing and editing this post for way too long, or I can get back to the website.... Ciao for now.
