Took a couple days to take out to college. We finally rode the in Idaho. 15 miles of coasting down through the mountains. Then, overnight in Winthrop on our way to a hike in the Cascades. Finally a couple of days in Bellingham getting him situated and then letting go. Safe travels Bud.

Willow Creek is one of my favorite rides around Livingston. The light on the rolling Hills in the morning or evening is incredible and when you come over a ridge or around the bend and see the mountains in the distance, it gives a thrill to the heart. I’m so glad we’re having some great spring weather.

I didn’t get all the way to the end of the road, but it was a good training ride. The surly ogre didn’t fail me although I did manage to do something to it that is going to require a little home maintenance.

I was telling some friends the other day how important it is to get outside here and remind myself how amazing it truly is. Hope you have a great weekend too.

I know a lot of us had a wonderful Thanksgiving’s and so did we. The long drive down to Northern California was worth it because we got to spend more time with family in a beautiful place.

The boys made desserts to cap off a wonderful Thanksgiving feast, lots of games were played, a fire under the stars, lots of time outside, and incredible views of the California coast all made it even more wonderful.
