Japan is really hot right now. 🥵🌞

You can still visit, but you’ll need to adjust your plans.

Try to do your outdoor sightseeing early, take a real break during the hottest part of the afternoon, and head back out after sunset.
Walking around Tokyo or Kyoto all day in this heat isn’t a good idea. It feels more like a challenge than a vacation.

Japan has had extreme heat and heatstroke alerts across the country, so this advice is timely and not just for attention.

Extra time at Sapporo Airport? 😜 🎌

But this lounge made it a whole lot better:
beer machine, whiskey, comfortable seating, and a quiet place to wait without fighting for a gate chair.

This is the kind of airport upgrade that actually feels worth it.

That orange latte at Rui Cafe is the kind of drink that makes you stop and say, yeah… I’m ordering that.

It’s a citrusy latte topped with an orange slice, and it fits the whole over-the-top Daikanyama vibe of the cafe perfectly. Pretty, a little extra, and actually worth it
