To continue to advocate effectively at the City, County, and State levels, we have proudly united our efforts with other neighborhood groups and adopted a new name: One Voice Westchester.

Same people! Same message! No upzoning of single-family and du/tri/four-plex homes in Westchester Playa.

Upzoning means the City has decided our neighborhoods and our homes are expendable.
Developers can make a huge profit because they will be allowed to build:
8-15 stories
Hundreds of unit
No parking
Fast-tracking of the process (meaning no community input) if the project is a shelter or 100% affordable housing

This is the Commercial map of the Community Plan Update for Westchester Playa.
600+ homes backing up to La Tijera, Sepulveda, Lincoln, and Manchester are slated for upzoning here. And 600+ homes are right across the street, so critically affected too.
