Holy Cow! All I can really say is-
THANK YOU!
This year show was a knock out as far as I'm concerned! I have tried to look and count and I think we had about 120 trucks!
The band was GREAT!
The pedal pull was BUSY!
The power wheels parade was AWESOME!
The dj down town was ROCKING!
The lights were BREATHTAKING!
Big Thank You's go out to:
- Each and every driver who brought a truck
- Each food vendor who powered through
- The band and dj for rocking out - The volunteers who ran the entry gates
- The crew handing out Registration cards and helped with parking
- The volunteers who kept the evening rolling with the auction tent, pedal pull, power wheels parade
- The kids who came to partake in the events
- Those who voted for people's choice
- The stores who stayed open to serve the spectators
- Our local fire, ems, police, and village personnel who helped coordinate, close streets, etc.
- And EACH AND EVERY PERSON WHO CAME OUT TO ENJOY!
This year's show was nothing short of incredible and you all made it happen!
Aaron Combs with the Green and Cream Peterbilt 389 took the People's Choice trophy!
Every dollar generated will go back into the fund for scholarships and for the show next year!
I want to tag so many people and thank them for their turn out and support, but I know I'll miss somebody.
It's truly humbling to be part of and leading something that has grown so massively from its first year. We'll be back next year with a few changes and try to make an even bigger statement!
