e. Started as a hobby, I wanted to have my own unique type of skateboard graphic that expressed me and would be affordable considering it would be destroyed in no time. In doing this I came to realize that I had an opportunity to do something I enjoy, and design graphics that are unique and personally expressive. Each graphic is painted one at a time and every board is unique and never copied, (unless you are into that sort of thing) If you are we do make logo graphic decks in small quantities. While screen print and heat transfers are the standard, I believe that skateboarding is an individual activity, so why not have a deck that is as unique as the way you skate. Bakwuds Skateboards represents the locals, those from small country towns, and any place that gives skateboards the middle finger and make it difficult to let them be creative on a skateboard. What makes us different? When you buy a Bakwuds skateboard, you are buying a one of a kind hand made graphic. We don’t use the traditional heat or screen printing methods for transferring graphics to decks. Board graphics are created by hand and everyone unique in its own way. When you choose Bakwuds, you are supporting a small town skateboarder and making it possible for others to keep skating. What kind of wood do we use? All our decks come from 100% Canadian maple. We do not cut corners with these decks so no cheap wood or glue allowed. All decks are traditional 7-ply, cross grained layouts. What shapes / sizes do we offer? We have three different shaped decks for any type of terrain you ride. They are also available in any size from 7.50 inches to 8.50 inches. Mellow - This deck is for those who like a flatter board with not to much concave. This deck has a center flat spot the creates a very convenient and unique feel for your feet. Medium - This deck offers a little more concave as the mellow and a steeper nose. This allows for you to not have to flick as much and be able to pop higher nollie tricks. There is no flat spots on this type. Steep - This deck is by far the steepest we have seen. It has maximum concave, and the nose/tail is identical to the medium. With this deck you can more easily do flip in/flip out tricks. If you enjoy riding steep boards this is for you. WAKESKATES- All of our wakeskates are custom and one of a kind. There is no automation in the manufacturing process so our boards are quality controlled every step of the way. We offer many varieties including, traditional solid all wood builds, Carbon-fiber/wood composites and wood/fiberglass composites. We specialize in the unique and custom setups up that can accommodate any size rider, at any age. We have many different shapes and board profiles that all have subtle changes to create a different feel in the water.

-3 stage STEEP- traditional skateboard feel with a Bakwuds twist. kicktails are the same as the skateboards we offer, for those who like a steep kick.
-3 stage MELLOW- traditional skateboard feel with a Bakwuds twist. kicktails are more mellow than the steep, for those who like a more consistent feel throughout the board.
