Pulled off onto a national service road in Medicine Bow National Forest, just outside Laramie, WY, for a quick shower, snack restock, and reset. 🚐🌲 First shower in the new van was a success. Truma AquaGo water heater for the win, instant hot water!

Next stop: Park City, UT! ⛰️

First fill-up of the day. ⛽️

Hands on the wheel for the next few days as I officially make my way west after spending the last nine days in Michigan. ❤️

Just me, Alice, lots of caffeine, sunflower seeds, and my compression socks. 😂

Westbound and out. ✌️ More to come about my time in Michigan. I spent a lot of it intentionally disconnected—and really enjoyed simply being present and enjoying the company. 😘

Now, back to the road. 🛣️

When the ornery sister you never asked for is actually your girlfriend’s friend… 😂

Van life can be challenging in some ways, but setup and tear-down aren’t one of them.

I pull into camp, put it in park, pull the emergency brake…and that’s my setup.😂🚐

Some people spend hours getting camp ready. I spend about 10 seconds. I call that winning. 😎

It feels good to be back in the saddle again! 🤠🚐

Day 1 of an 82-day van adventure across the country, up north into Canada, and back again! 🇺🇸🇨🇦

First stop, Michigan, where we’re chasing a little cooler weather. ❄️🌲

Joe and Carolyn are saddled up for the first week of the adventure. Memories, miles, and adventures! 🗺️❤️

I wonder if this will still be on the menu when we return to Alaska next year! Our family from Maine loves clam dip, so I have a feeling they'll be first in line to try this local favorite.

The smoked salmon spread was absolutely delicious—rich, smoky, and full of flavor. But I'm still intrigued by the combination of donuts and dumplings! I skipped the dumplings this time, so they'll definitely be on my must-try list when we visit again next year.
